さて、Akiはハノイを後にしてカンボジアのシュレムアップに無事到着しました。
一応、国際空港なのですが鉄道駅のようなかわいらしい空港です。
飛行機が滑走路に滑りこむと、バスがのろのろ近づいてきて、乗客をターミナルまで運びます。

これはいいですね。
タラップに立つと、その途端に周囲の緑が目に飛び込んできて、
生あったかい空気、湿気を含んだにおいが一気に押し寄せてきます。
また異国へ来た！という感慨がふつふつと沸いきます。
イミグレを無事通過し（ビザは日本でとりました）、建物の外へ出ると予約しておいたタクシーが待っていました。タクシーといっても、オートバイが台車を引いているようなものです（トクトク）。一応、台車には屋根があるのですが窓がない。東南アジアではよく見るタイプです。ふうううむ、まあいいか。５０＄／３日で貸切ることにしました。

カンボジアの通貨はリエル、１円が３0リエル。しかし、シュレムアップではドルが主要通貨なのです。食堂や飲み屋でも普通にドルが使えます。なのでAkiはあらかじめ
１ドル紙幣を多めに持ってきました、そのため財布の中はドル札でいっぱいです。
ホテルに着いてWIFIにつなぐとTuからメッセージが来てました。
ママに言われて、あたふたと素っ気なく朝出かけたくせに、と思いつつ、
返事をしときました。
翌日は、待望のアンコールワット見学です。
朝、約束した時間にホテルを出ると、例のトクトクの運転手が待っていてくれました。
ホテルはシュレムアップ市内にあり、ここから３０分ほど行ったところにアンコールワットはあるそうです。途中、馬券売り場みたいなところに寄って入場券を買います。
高い！ 一日券で２０＄ ※２０１５年時点

ここまで来たら、もう誰でも買うしかない。完全に足元見てますね。

大汗をかきながらとにかく昇る

リンガがアンコールワットにありました。
リンガ；インドで崇拝された男根像。男根崇拝は、アーリア人以外の先住民族の間で、地母神崇拝と合体して広く行われていた宗教であるが、やがて、シャクティ派的な考えから、宇宙の最高神であるシバ神の象徴であるとされた。リンガ像は、普通、女陰をかたどった皿のような台の上に、その女陰を貫く形で立っているが、それほど即物的な形象をもっていない。信者はこれをシバ神とみなし、花を捧(ささ)げ、ギー（乳脂肪）を注ぐ。当初、リンガ崇拝は土着の宗教として低くみられていたが、8世紀の不二一元(ふにいちげん)論ベーダーンタ派の開祖シャンカラなどによって、ヒンドゥー教のなかに高く位置づけられるようになった。それとともに、生殖、子孫繁栄というストレートな願望の対象ではかならずしもなくなり、あくまでもシバ神の象徴としての性格を強くもたされることになった。現在の信者は、リンガ崇拝を性器崇拝であるとはすこしも思っていない。（日本大百科全書(ニッポニカ)の解説より）・・だそうです。

大きいですね。しげしげと見てしまいました。
アンコールワットは明らかにインド文明から影響を受けています。安南山脈の向こうはベトナムですが、この山脈の西と東では発達した文化が明らかに違います。ベトナム人の顔、肌の色はほとんど我々日本人と変わらないのですが、カンボジアに来るとインド人の色合いに変わります。まったく違う国なのです。あたりまえですが。
しかし、カンボジアの立ち位置は微妙です。
シュレムアップの町を歩くとよくわかりますが、中国資本が席捲しており、実際に中国人観光客が我が物顔で闊歩しているのに出くわします。呼び込みの言葉も中国語です。日本人観光客も居るにはいるのですが肩身が狭いように思えました。
また、その一方でベトナム資本も入り込んでいます。アンコールワットの高い入場料はカンボジア人の懐にはいらすベトナムに入っているようです。
また、北朝鮮レストランというのもあって、実際に店の前を通りましたが、こわくて入りませんでした。ベトナム、中国、北朝鮮、なにやらいろいろな種類の利権が渦を巻いているようです。
日本はどうすべきなんでしょう？
関わり合いにならず、静観するのが一番じゃないでしょうか？
夜はシュレムアップの町を歩きました。小さな町ですが、パブストリートという繁華街があってすこぶる活気がありました。
タイの歓楽街パタヤと同じでアンコールワットも堕落しています。
しかし、この堕落感、Akiは大好きです。

翌日は朝、ゆっくり起きました。
遺跡巡りは楽しいのですが、
暑い！！！
体力の消耗が激しいようです。
午前中は部屋で、時折Tuとチャットしながらゆっくりと過ごし、午後はトンレサップ湖に行きました。
この湖は大きく、メコン川の源流なのです。聞くところによると、この大きな湖があるおかげで下流のメコンデルタでは洪水がおきないそうです。要するにトンレサップ湖が水量の調節池になっているとのことでした。メコンデルタは南部ベトナムにあり、有数の穀倉地帯です。カンボジアがベトナムのために尽くしているわけです。
船で湖を巡ると、水上家屋が目に飛び込んできました。
あれ、ベトナム語？
これはベトナム学校の校舎のようです。
少し調べると、トンレサップ湖周辺には以前からベトナム人が住んでおり、
いわゆるベトナム難民がカンボジアに流入し、そのまま居ついたというのが真相のようです。ベトナム戦争が終わったのが１９７５年、すでに５０年近くになりますが、その痕跡は東南アジアのいたるところで垣間見ることができます。
シュレムアップには結局４泊して、それなりに観光したあと、
深夜に出る日本行きの便に乗り換えるためです。
ホーチミンには２時間ほどで到着しました。
タンソニャット空港です。
カンボジアを旅して、ベトナムとは違った東南アジアの空気を感じることができ、
違った角度からベトナムを見ることができたようです。
ベトナムの肌合いの良さを改めて感じ、
ある種の覚悟のようなものが自分の中に出来ていました。
ベトナム人のTuとずっと付き合おう、好きだから、
国が違っていても、住む場所が違っていても、やっぱり好きだから、
Akiは空港の待合室でTuとチャットしながらそう思いました
直接話がしたい、直接声が聴きたい。
そこでAkiはハノイにいるTuに電話しました。
”I love you"
”You are my only LOVE"
と大きな声で言いました。
Tuは突然の電話に驚いたようでしたが
”I love you, too"
と言ってくれました。
周りには日本人の団体客が大勢いました。
I LOVE YOU、 はずかしくてこんなこと今まで言ったことがありません。
顔は真っ赤だったと思います。でも、どうしても言わなければいけない。
自分の気持ちをはっきりと伝えなければいけない、と思ったのです。
２０１５年８月１４日深夜のことでした。
Akiにたった一人のベトナム人の彼氏ができました。
そして今もたった一人の彼氏です。
